TXT has just become the second K-pop artist ever to have an album certified gold in the United States!
On August 4 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that it had awarded TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” an official gold certification for over 500,000 units sold in the United States.
With this achievement, TXT has become only the second Korean act in history to earn an official album certification from the RIAA, following BTS.
Meanwhile, TXT is currently gearing up to perform at Lollapalooza 2023, where they will be making history this weekend as the first K-pop group ever to headline the famous U.S. music festival.
