“Revenant” And “King The Land” Sweep Top Spots On Most Buzzworthy Drama And Actor Rankings

SBS’s “Revenant” and JTBC’s “King the Land” dominated this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and cast members!

In its final week on air, “Revenant” remained No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “Revenant” top the list of buzzworthy dramas for the second consecutive week, but its cast also claimed three of the top 10 spots on this week’s actor list. Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se remained No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, while Shim Dal Gi rose to No. 10 for the week.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “King the Land” continued its reign over the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members. Stars 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA held onto their respective spots at No. 1 and No. 2, while the show itself held steady at No. 2 on the drama list.

tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch”—the second season of the popular drama “The Uncanny Counter”—rose to No. 3 in its first week on air.

TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” shot to No. 4 on this week’s drama list, while leading lady Park Joo Mi climbed to No. 8 in the actor rankings.

KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” rose to No. 5 on the drama list, with star Baek Jin Hee staying strong at No. 7 on the actor list.

In its first week on air, ENA’s new mystery thriller “Longing for You” entered the drama list at No. 6, while tvN’s new drama “My Lovely Liar” debuted at No. 8.

Finally, while the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list includes cast members from OTT shows—and three actors from Netflix’s “D.P. 2” made the list. Jung Hae In entered the rankings at No. 5, Goo Kyo Hwan at No. 6, and Son Suk Ku at No. 9.
