Here’s All The “Proof” That Caused Fans To Think SEVENTEEN’s Joshua Is Dating A Model

SEVENTEEN’s Joshua has recently been embroiled in dating rumors. On August 6, 2023, fans uncovered what they think is evidence of the him dating a model called Cho Mi Young. Cho Mi Young is not a stranger to the entertainment industry herself. Not only is she a signed model, she also once appeared on the dating reality show “Before Somerise.”

Here’s all the “evidence” that fans have gathered.

1. Matching clothes and accessories

The pair have been spotted wearing the exact same clothes and accessories frequently. What raised fans’ suspicions was that Mi Young was the one to post herself in the items first, most of the time.

They wore the same necklaces and knit sweater.

Fans also found this particular Calvin Klein denim top suspicious. Denim washes usually have minor differences even in products of the same design. It is unlikely that you will see two exact same denim washed pieces, even from the same brand and design. Fans pointed out that the denim print is too similar to be different pieces.

The similar pieces didn’t stop there. From the same knit sweaters, to even the same phone case, fans found that there were too many items to be a coincidence.

They also wore the same checked cardigan. Joshua also once posted a photo of a bracelet he made for fellow member Dino, atop a checkered rug. The same rug appeared in Mi Young’s feed.

The “evidences” of couple clothing items are endless.

The fabric washes on many of these couple items were so similar that fans began to think that rather than getting two sets of each item, the two were just sharing their clothes.

Most of these items are also not from endorsed brands, but likely to be personal purchases.

They were also spotted wearing the same crossbody bag.

2. Holidaying with the parents

According to witnesses on site, during Joshua’s travels to the Philippines with his mother, his mother was seen walking arm in arm with a short-haired girl. Fans did not think much of this at that time, as Joshua and his mother had been eating out with a small group. Fans belatedly realized that the girl in question was Cho Mi Young.

3. Similar location at a similar time

These set of photos were taken at a park, and uploaded at similar times. Cho Mi Young uploaded hers on July 7, 2023, while Joshua’s was posted on July 6.

4. Joshua’s laughter

In a birthday video posted by Cho Mi Young, a few voices can be heard. One laughter sounded particularly familiar to fans. As Joshua’s voice isn’t a common one, fans recognized it immediately.

5. Suspicious bracelets

Fans found that the two were wearing similar beaded bracelets. Bracelet crafting is a hobby that Joshua has, and he made the ones that he was wearing. Cho Mi Young was spotted with similar bracelets later on.

While this wasn’t enough to raise suspicion, she also uploaded a video in which her friend questions her about the source of the bracelets. She just laughs teasingly.

Cho Mi Young has begun deleting a couple of her Instagram posts ever since the rumors broke out. She has not stepped up to confirm or deny anything yet. Similarly, there has been no statement from SEVENTEEN’s management thus far.
