The One K-Pop MV Teaser That Fans Agree Is Absolutely Legendary
[ad_1]
It’s iconic to this day.
In order to build up hype for a K-Pop artist’s comeback, teaser videos have become an almost necessary part of a promotions schedule along with photos and other teasers.
Sometimes these music video teasers are a good representation of what the video is actually going to be, while other times they can be totally different and throw fans for a loop (such as TWICE‘s debut song, “Like Ooh-Ahh”)!
Recently on an online forum post, fans discussed which music video teaser from a K-Pop artist brought the most anticipation for the song to become a huge hit. The comments section had several different answers from fans, including the teasers for Red Velvet‘s “Peek-A-Boo”…
BLACKPINK‘s MV teaser for “DDU-DU DDU-DU”…
The iconic teaser for BTS‘s “Blood Sweat & Tears”…
And f(x)‘s teaser for their Pink Tape album, to name a few.
However, both the author of the post and the majority of the commenters seem to agree that there’s one teaser that stands out among all the rest.
The music video teaser in question: “Really Really” by WINNER.
Released in April 2017, the song did, indeed, go on to be a massive hit for the group, arguably the most iconic song that they’ve ever released. Jinu‘s “I like you” line (“Neol joahae”) is particularly legendary, and the entire song is just a staple summer hit to this day.
Plenty of people in the comments section of the post agree with the author’s original claim that the “Really Really” teaser video is unmatched.
Do you agree, or is there another MV teaser that you think had the most anticipation built for the actual music video release?
